Research On Landscape Planning And Design In Rural Tourist Garden

In recent years, with the rapid economic growth, people's living standard has been improved a great deal. Because of their increasing leisure time, the urbane residents are becoming keener for the tranquility and peace of nature than before and trying to look for a good place for stress release. Then the countries on the outskirts of city exactly meet those people's needs. As such, many"Happy Farmhouses"with large or small size are set up, which boost the development of country tour. After twenty year's real practice, this kind of rudimentary tour way cannot be able to satisfy people's demands and begins to evolve towards"Country Tour Garden"of large scale as well as high quality.In Chengdu City, some fabulous large size"Country Tour Gardens"have been established, one of which is"Five Golden Flowers"locating in Sansheng Town, Jinjiang District. Such development helps to narrow the gap between urbane and rural areas, accelerate the construction of new country and meliorate the problem of"Three Peasants". However,"Country Tour Garden"is still a new born thing which lacks of scientific theoretical guide and effective design methods and strategies. That means it needs to be researched further. Moreover, the development level of"Country Tour Garden"in Chongqing City is relatively low with many existing problems. This paper aims to put forward some useful principles and suggestions for the building of"Country Tour Garden"in Chongqing City by comprehensively analyzing some successful cases in Chengdu.The contents of this paper consist of five parts.The first part introduces the background of country tour, summarizes the current research situation both in China and abroad regarding Tourism and landscape science and provides views on how to design the"Country Tour Garden"The second part firstly integrates theories of tourism and landscape science, and then deduces the definition, characteristics and classification to clearly expound the relative issues concerning"Country Tour Garden".The third part analyzes the common features in developing"Country Tour Garden"between Chengdu and Chongqing, draws comparisons of development history between the two cities, briefs the good experiences of Chengdu and finally summarize the problems of"Country Tour Garden"in Chongqing City. The fourth part provides some pragmatic references for Chongqing to develop"Country Tour Garden"by summarizing the good case of"Five Golden Flowers".The last part gives some design principles and suggestions for"Country Tour Garden"development in Chongqing through Chengdu's experiences.
