Literature Review Research On The Bit Economics

The proportion of total economy of Bit based Information goods in is increasing. The different features between physical goods and information goods make part of the traditional economic theory unable to apply. Many Economists are attracted by the new features of information goods; their studies included "information economics" and "economics of information". This paper studied researched basic features, economic features and economic theory of bit based information goods. Bit is the basic unit of digitalized information goods, so we named this theory "Bit Economics" to distinguish our research from exist theories. This paper is the preliminary study of Bit Economics, it includes: (1) Development, objects and contend of relative research regions, (2) Objects and contend of Bit Economics, (3) Define Bit goods, (4) Summarize basic features and economic features of Bit goods, (5) Classify Bit goods, (6) Copyright and Copying research, (7) Influence factors of price and social welfare of Bit goods. Our research use the methods of comparison, deduction and induction based on a large amount of papers. The main achievements of this paper include: (1) summarize of relative researches and definition of Bit Economics, (2) summarize of economic modeling conditions, (3) summarize of factors that influence price and social warfare. (4) Future researching directions.
