Research On Product Safety Crisis Management Of Manufacturing Industry In China

With the development of market economy, China's Manufacturing industry has changed from a seller's market into a buyer's market. The customer can not be satisfied to own some product; they want to have the most excellent product. Product safety is the basic social responsibility for the corporate. When buying a new product, product safety is the most important factor for them. To provide product in good quality to the customer is the only way for the enterprises to carry their brand strategy into execution. And it can also help the enterprise to make great progress. More and more Chinese enterprises begin to sell their product into the foreign countries with the reform and open policy of China. Then the product safety problem of Chinese enterprise begins to be an international hot spot. As a big country, China ought to set a good example for all developing countries to enhance the level of product safety. Along with international trade product safety and begin to lead to international dispute. It makes good sense to implement product safety crisis management.In the field of crisis management there is little study about product safety. On the basic of literature review about crisis management and product safety, I study product safety crisis management in order to help the Chinese enterprise to deal with the product safety crisis problem. And I think it will enhance competitiveness of Chinese enterprise both at home and abroad. To solve the problems above, I integrated theoretical studies with demonstration analysis and typical cases in this study.At first I analyze the background of product safety problem. And then brings the conception and characteristics of it. I make a flow chart of product safety crisis life cycle in this paper. Then I analyze the reason of product safety crisis from the point of product quality, the subjective factors and objective factors out of the enterprise. And I make a flow chart about it. At last I recommend solutions to the problem on the angle of prevention control and recovery. 1 propose a model named PCR in the end.
