It has been more than thirty years since China started the economic reformation, many amazing enterprises built with entrepreneurs’great abilities. The economic in China is growing better and better. Meanwhile, the environment of the economic and policy internally and internationally is becoming more and more complex, the uncertain factors increased, which required the enterprises to setup an effective crisis management system to protect themselves. But the truth is, many enterprises don’t have effective crisis management system, they lost themselves or escape while facing urgent crisis, which brought worse influence and made crisis out of control.Currently, enterprise crisis management is developed much deeper abroad, special in 1980s.Many enterprises have built an effective control method for crisis management, more efforts were focused on crisis prevention instead of crisis reaction. System crisis prevention was setup.This thesis selected BS company as research object, used the case analysis as method, introduced the enterprise crisis management theory and the status of BS company. Product crisis was deep analyzed based on the two cases. For the disadvantage of product crisis prevention, proposals were introduced as key factors list, cost control, increase crisis sense and confirm the crisis prevention system of suppliers and customers. For crisis reaction, proposal also given as increasing crisis managers’experience, speeding up the failure part analysis and setup enough ability for risk assessment.Chapter 1 of this thesis introduced the crisis management status and the target, method and influence. Chapter 2 summarized enterprise crisis management theory and current research achievement. Chapter 3 shared the information of BS enterprise in detail, and introduced crisis management skills based on product crisis. Chapter 4 described and analyzed two cases for crisis prevention and reaction. Based on the disadvantages and enterprise crisis management theory, feasible proposals were introduced for improvement. Chapter 5 summarized the system solution for product crisis prevention and reaction. Chapter 6 is final summary and looking forward to the future.Currently most enterprises in China have a general crisis management system on company level, but no feasible solution for product crisis management. And most enterprises crisis management research are also stay on company level with general theory, or give comments for special cases, no any system management theory for product crisis.The special of my thesis is product crisis was selected as the object for deep analysis, and feasible solution were proposed for product crisis prevention and reaction. Based on this, product crisis management system for prevention and reaction were summarized, which completed the gap of current theory and practice partly.
