Under the circumstance of financial crisis, the industry of electrical appliances in our country has encountered a special period. According to researches on designing electrical appliance for the co-renting group, this paper aims to help electrical appliances manufacture enterprise to explore and make more profit in the market.The first chapter of this paper mainly summarizes the concept of co-renting, which divides the co-renting phenomenon into three sections, according to the guidance of national macro-policy. Based on five reasons which bring about the phenomenon of co-renting, namely national macro-policy, government's real estate policy, income level of the general public, standard of culture of the co-renting group and the influences of district culture differences, three sections of co-renting have been analyzed. In the end of the first chapter, this paper further analyzes the phenomenon of co-renting by opposite sex.The premise of researches on designing for electrical appliances under the social relationship of co-renting is to be familiar with the industry of electrical appliances at present. In the second chapter, in order to draw forth the market segments during the period of mature this paper discourse the three periods of leading-in, growth and mature of the industry of electrical appliances in our country. According to market segments theory and the standard and requirements of market segments, the potential market caused by the co-renting group has been evaluated, and the feasibility of electrical appliance research and development in connection with the co-renting group has been analyzed as well. In addition, this paper takes a primary research on electrical appliance service conditions in the co-renting group according to the guidance of the contradiction. Consequently, the result shows that the use of refrigerator tops in the contradiction caused in the co-renting group. After the third chapter of analyzing refrigerators, the forth chapter focuses on the research of consumer psychology aimed at the co-renting group, then analyzes the results of the research in details. In the last part, this paper connects design cases to draw a conclusion.
