However, now, the designing methods and rules of the low-renting houses are still far from maturation., especially lacking of the study of the subjects living in the houses.The design of the flat type is an important part in the house designing. According to the data from the surveys on the satisfaction of low-renting houses livers and the living needs of the low-income families in Hangzhou in 2010, the paper presented the problem that the aged's living in encountered, to study the issue that the flat types for the aged in the low-renting houses. Based on the current situation of the life of the aged livers in Hangzhou low-renting communities, the analysis and conclusion of related theories in the second chapter provided a basis for the processing of the "research on the current situation of the low-renting houses in Hangzhou. And then, with questionnaire and visits, the research presented us the paradox between the aged's living needs and the situation. Then, there was a conclusion to the designing methods of that, which was a design guider with theoretical and realistic significance. After thata design experiment was given that based on the outside-corridor residential form.At last, a summary was given about the profits and limitations of the paper, and putting forward some problems that require more researches yet.
