Research On Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Of TPL Enterprise's Core Competence

The third party logistics (TPL) is a new form of logistics which appears with the deep development of theories and practices, it is the outcome of specialization and socialization of logistics. This thesis aims to study and evaluate the core competence of the TPL enterprises by the construction of the index system and using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to carry out comprehensive evaluation. Then we do the further demonstration analysis so as to verify the feasibility of the index system and the evaluation method, besides, we also hope to find the gaps and problems of the TPL enterprises in our country from the results of the evaluation analysis. And on the basis of above research, we can bring forward some suggestions to improve the core competence of our TPL enterprises.There are mainly five parts in the thesis. First of all, the article introduced the topic background, research significance, the present situation at home and abroad, research contents and methods. This was followed by the related theory outline of the TPL and core competence. The third part is the construction of evaluation index system for core competence of the TPL enterprises which is based on the principles and the characteristics and the analysis of the evaluation by using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method in the light of the characteristics of issue.This thesis focuses on the fourth and fifth part. In part four, we selected DHL which is a well known logistics enterprise and Shenyang GT Logistics Ltd. Co. which is normal as samples. We analyzed their core competences by using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and finally got the overall evaluation scores and the scores of all the branch indicators. On the one hand, it verified the feasibility of the model, on the other hand, it has drawn the following conclusion: China's TPL enterprises have a great gap with international advanced enterprises in the various indicators. Subsequently, we gave the detailed analysis to the causes. In the last part of the thesis ,I put up with a series of measures on the basis of above analysis to improve the core competence of the TPL enterprises in our country.
