Research On The Evolution Mechanism Of Industrial Clusters Based On Focal Firms Growth

Under the background of the economic globalization, the development of the industrial clusters becomes more and more universal phenomenon. On the one hand, industrial clusters have becoming an important research object for a lot of subjects, as its rapid development in the world and the important contribution to the regional economies. While on the other hand, more and more industrial clusters are going into hut water, even declining, which seriously influence the district economy.Through the evolution of the cluster of historical research, it can be found that any of the natural growth of industrial clusters has one or more companies focus on the formation and development of clusters playing a key role in the process. In view of this, this paper studies on the evolution mechanism of the industrial clusters from the view of the focal firms' growth, by using the method of evolution economics. This research makes up some deficiencies in durative development theory of industrial cluster and provides useful guidance and reference for cluster development of enterprise in different areas.First the paper puts forward the reason for studying the focal firms in the industrial cluster, and summarizes the research results inland and abroad to this question, pointed out the significance of studying this problem, then puts forward the definition, the feature, the classification, the life cycle of the industrial cluster in this paper used. Then puts forward the definition of a idiosyncratic focal firm in the industrial cluster, concludes the feature and the function of the focal firms. According to the life cycle of the industrial and the growth of the focal firms, the paper divides the evolution course of industrial cluster into four different phases, namely lateral concentration phase, longitudinal cooperation phase, crisscross dependence phase and network adjustment phase. Analysis the driving forces and the important for drawing cluster evolution. Finally, take the industrial cluster of LIUSHI low voltage electric apparatus for example, the paper check analysis the theory part of the previous. Further explore the development and evolution of industrial clusters, and analysis the effect of focal firms during the industrial cluster evolution course, derives the experience of enlightenment for promting the development of cluster.
