Research On The Industrial Cluster's Formation And Evolution Mechanism

When the multinational corporation leads the global production competition by the technical progress and the organization transformation, the industrial cluster as a network organization between the market and the enterprise branch level develops and expands in the economical global tendency depending upon its unique competition superiority. It is becoming one new luminescent spot in the world economics. The thesis is based on the actual analysis of a lot of domestic and foreign industrial cluster case and the present industrial cluster's research literature. From the complex big system viewpoint, the thesis researches the industrial cluster's formation and evolution mechanism using the related theory and method. At last, the thesis analyzes our country industrial cluster's development through the conclusion of the study. 1) Through to all kinds of industrial cluster's concept analysis, thinking about the industry cluster's characteristic, the thesis gives a new indication for industrial cluster's concept. The industrial cluster is an achieving the certain quantity scale and existing the competition and cooperation relation's spatial aggregation that is composed of the connected with some specific industry (induct) enterprise and organization. In the concept, the thesis highlighted "quantity scale" limits to avoid the phenomenon that some studies blindly applies the industrial cluster's concept at present. At the same time, it emphasizes the industrial cluster is the space cluster not the geography compartment cluster, so that we could explain why some industrial cluster can cross geography compartment. In order to make the study object clear, the thesis proposed the operational industrial cluster's limits standard following the indication for industrial cluster's concept. The thesis distinguishes the industrial cluster from the production scale, the employment scale and the market scale three dimensions, and determines each dimension computation target and the weight standard, so that we can realize the industrial cluster's extension. 2) Through the analysis of the case and the coordination of the data, the thesis thinks that the important influence factor to the industrial cluster's formation and evolution is marketing, special knowledge, government harassment, quality of resources (natural resources and human resources), and environment(natural environment and culture environment). At the same time, it analyzes each influence factor's mode and effect. 3) Using the theory of dissipative structure and the theory of catastrophe, connecting economic analysis method, the analysis model is established from the industrial cluster's seed to formation as well as the entire evolution process. The thesis thinks that the industrial cluster's seed is caused by some innovation enterprise accidentally appearing, and it is inevitably under accidental, but is not the complete stochastic event. Under the innovation enterprise's exemplary role, the massive imitations enterprise follows up. After the cluster seed develops the certain time, some small perturbation would cause the cluster system's catastrophe, which causes the industrial cluster truly to form. Because the industrial cluster's formation is caused by the catastrophe, nobody is able to artificially subjectively assign to develop some industrial cluster. In the analysis of the industrial cluster's formation and evolution's process, the thesis introduced the concept of cluster entropy. From the relations between the entropy and the cluster system situation, the thesis analyzes each stage characteristic of the industrial cluster life cycle, and emphasizes that the industrial cluster's life cycle is not absolutely continual, but can reverse anytime. Therefore we must stress to monitor the industrial cluster system and the mutual function between it and the inside and out environment, and to avoid the reversal of the evolution process. At the later period of the cluster's mature period, we can positively intervene the influence factor to prevent cluster decline, to realize the industrial cluster's reengineering, and to make it enter the new evolution cycle. 4) According to the research conclusion, connecting our country's industrial cluster situation, the thesis gives a new thought to our country industry cluster's development. We must take care of these questions: innovation enterprise's cultivation, government behavior adjustment, industrial cluster's coordinated mechanism consummation, industrial cluster's necessary service system perfection.
