Research on supply chain management is a focus of modern corporate management study, while modeling and simulation are essential methods of study on supply chain management. Supply chain system is neither a discrete event system nor a continuous dynamic system. However, existing methods of supply chain modeling and simulation can only reflect one aspect of supply chain system, and cannot give consideration to both. This paper is in this context to explore a modeling method to reflect the hybrid systems characteristics of supply chain.Firstly, this study expatiated the discrete-continuous combined property of supply chain; besides, compares existing methods of supply chain modeling, which based on either discrete or continuous condition; after that, put forward a supply chain model, which uses both Agent-based Model and System Dynamics Model, in order to reflect the discrete-continuous combined property of supply chain; then prove the feasibility of the method used in the study. To prove the model, this paper combines with a case study of a retail enterprise supply chain, using Agent-based Model and System Dynamics Model in AnyLogic to construct a system model, including factory, distributer, retailer and consumer. The model is tested through simulation, which proves the "Bullwhip Effect" . Through setting the inventory management object function, we conclude the simulation method of maximum and minimum stock control strategy (s, S).Simulation results show that the model reflects the discrete-continuous combined property of supply chain and the simulation achieves desired results, which proves the model is more realistic. Solving the problem of control strategy provides some practical guidance for commercial activities and scientific decision of supply chain. Research has practical significance...
