Research On The Function Of Orbital Transportation To The Development Of City

With the development of economy,the urban population became more and more,which caused the problems of accumulation and transportation that affected the urban development. However,the orbital transportation is recognized as a most important affect to the transportation system development. That influences the structure and functional localization of city immediately. That has the function of guidance and feedback to land using and industrial structure,which also improving environment. Therefore the orbital transportation is very important to the urban development.However,there were several problems on orbital transportation's scale and plans. Which overemphasized the function of center in city,neglected the function of scatter,neglected the function of promotion and guidance in transportation system. How to adjust the scale of orbital transportation to adapt to the development of city is a worth research.This article made the research on present situation of orbital transportation at first,which find out the many problems noticeable. Then it elaborated the orbital transportation guides the function in transportation structure,spatial structure and industrial structure positively. It also elaborated the importance of reasonable orbital transportation scale and road network structure. After that,it toke Shanghai as an case, analyzed the present situation of Shanghai orbital transport facilities which was good overall. Inspected the line of north direction and south direction carefully to elaborate the guidance function, as well as the comprehensive affection on the whole system in future of Shanghai. Furthermore,inspected the rationality of road network. There were flaws in designs of reserving and transferring,as well as the road resource sharing. At the same time , the rationality of Shanghai orbital transportation scale was smaller than theory scale. The analysis constructed that the local finance income was the primary factor affected orbital transportation scale by multi-dimensional stepwise regression. Thus , the scale of Shanghai orbital transportation needed to be adjusted. Finally,the article proposed that the orbital transportation should to suit the urban development. There were some reasonable and feasible suggestion can be accepted that were suitable scale,multi-channel financing methods,expanding the radiation direction and scope of network and improving the plan system.
