The Sustainable Development Of The Resource-Based City

There are many resource-based cities in our country which made a great contribution to the history in the process of the long-term economic development and Urbanization. But with the development of market economy,the resource-based city faced with many problems, for example, the serious environmental problems, the increase in unemployment, the lack of reserve resources , ecological imbalance and scarcity of water resources. These issues Serious impact on the sustainable development of the resource-based city. This article made an example of Linfen in Shanxi Province, to analyze the benefits and disadvantage,the aim is to explore the path to achieve sustainable development of Linfen.There are some problems.in sustainable development of Shanxi Linfen. Economic structure of a single is one of the problems. The main focus of the economic structure in Linfen is coal mining, coal washing and coking.The coal industry has the long-term dominant position. Environmental issues are aslo prominent issues which has a serious impact on people's lives, for instance ,air pollution , large amount of garbage discharged, Backward infrastructure in the urban environment. .In addition, Low utilization rate of resources constrains the road of sustainable development of Linfen, and has a serious breach of the scientific concept of development.In response to this series of questions , this article puts forward corresponding measures. Such as update the industrial structure, develope the diversified economy; the positive development of service industries, expanding employment area; to promote the development of tourism; speed up the upgrading of industrial technology and extension of industrial chain; Controlling population growth, improve the population quality; to develope the circular economy; establishment of a social security system; to play a leading role in the government and so on.In conclusion, In order to achieve sustainable development of Linfen City , we must follow the scientific concept of development requirements, innovation and sustainable development of the institutional,really find a sustainable development road which in line with the actual situation of Linfen.
