The Study On The Strategy Of Qinhuangdao City Marketing

In the 21st century, competitions not only remain on enterprise's level, now expanded to the urban level. Facing the fierce competition, each city should seize the opportunity for development and the rise, Qinhuangdao is no exception. This article attempts to introduce the idea of city marketing to the development of Qinhuangdao, based on the study of passed research and successful city marketing cases, analyzes its development status, then innovatively build up a Qinhuangdao′city marketing strategic system, and concretely put forward Qinhuangdao′city marketing strategies.Firstly, this article summarized the domestic and foreign scholars′research results regarding the urban marketing, pointed out city marketing′necessity and inevitability, and elaborated the city marketing theory and the correlation theories.Secondly, the article enumerates the domestic coastal cities′successful city marketing cases, summarizes their experiences, simultaneously pointed out the problems of domestic coastal cities′city marketing, and provides reference for Qinhuangdao.Thirdly, the article discusses the development status of the city of Qinhuangdao City, and analyzes the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the development of Qinhuangdao; based on the analysis, build up a Qinhuangdao′city marketing Strategic system. In the past, domestic and foreign city marketing studies remain on status, problems, strategies, and so on, but has not put forward a systematic and operational model. This paper according to the latest "Five-Fits" benchmarks and major elements of the city marketing, innovatively build up a "one idea, three impetus, two basic" city marketing strategic system.Finally, based on the Qinhuangdao′city marketing strategic system, the paper puts forward the Qinhuangdao city marketing mix strategies and the safeguards of Qinhuangdao city marketing strategies.
