Supply chain management comes from just-in-time manufacturing theory and logistics theory. It is widely used in manufacture because it can reduce the operating cost of company, lower all kinds of risks in enterprise operation and promote intensive cooperation among all partners and so on. Developing with the economy of society in current, the traditional management mode can't meet the requirement of construction industry any more. A new management mode is needed to replace the original one to raise the competitiveness of company. So supply chain management becomes the focus of construction industry gradually.Starting from summarizing the related materials of construction supply chain (CSC), homeland and abroad, this paper provided the definition of CSC and construction supply chain management (CSCM), introduced the development of China construction in this few year and the change of management mode of construction. Moreover, it pointed out the scarcity of China construction management, compared the similarities and differences between traditional construction managerial method and CSCM method. At last, the necessarity of conducting CSCM in construction company was described in detail.In this paper, CSC, which was the core of general contractor, was chosen as the research object, under the progressing general contracting mode. The author summarized large quantity research materials. Combining with the characters of CSC itself, the author get 42 CSC performance evaluation primary targets from authoritative documents by using frequency analysis method. The questionnaire survey about the importance of primary targets was done to construction industry experts. The author analyzed the data on concentration and dispersion ratio, and selected the targets to ensure 23 performance evaluation targets. The article used interval special roots method to define weight intervals and set up the model of searching optimal weights on the basis of AHP indeterminacy interval matrix. MATLAB program on real number genetic algorithm was used to define final weights of target after global search.At last, this paper compares the existing general performance evaluation methods, that is, principal component analysis (PCA), fuzzy comprehensive evolution (FCE), data envelope analysis (DEA) and supply chain Benchmarking (SCB), on the basis of CSC performance evaluation system presented before. Combining with the developing situation of CSC of China in current, SCB was selected finally. And an empirical research of performance evaluation on CSC was done in a certain construction company in China.
