The world developed through the industrial age characterized by machine and raw materials into the information age characterized by the computer and information, information play an increasingly important role in modern society. Many economic experts agree that future competition is no longer a competition between enterprises, but between supply chains. The relationships of enterprises in Construction supply chain can be considered in the sharing of information, risks, and profit within a certain period of time.While the study on construction supply chain in China just started ,and the research on the supply chain information sharing are extremely small, but through the analysis of current status of construction supply chains, combined with literature research, we know that information sharing, particularly in the context of advanced information technology, can eliminate prevailing asymmetry of information between node enterprises, is a important way to improve the efficiency of the construction supply chain and also has great potential for the construction supply chain value-added.The first two introductory chapters of this paper clarified the purpose and importance of the research, given the concept of construction supply chain and content of information sharing, summarized the current major problems of information sharing in construction supply chains and introduced some of the advanced technologies for information sharing, such as the application of information systems and information portals. Chapter III, IV and five are the core content of this paper. First consider the four main aspects which can reflect the level of information sharing in the construction supply chain, namely, awareness, quality, technology and customer satisfaction, and then subdivided these four types of indicators, and then established an evaluation system of information sharing maturity .A evaluation methods is given with detail steps. All this work provides the evaluation criteria for a comprehensive status measure of a particular of supply chain. Based on the analysis strengths and weaknesses of three kinds of information-sharing model which are applied in construction supply chain, a new model is proposed which can support node enterprises collaborative decision-making, and it provides the technical support for raising the level of information sharing .Finally analysis the benefits of information sharing can bring to the construction supply chain with qualitative and quantitative means respectively, prove that raising the level of supply chain information sharing can reduce project costs, shorten days for construction and improve the quality of projects. Then transform these three to value form in a certain way, build a comprehensive benefit calculation model, this provides a method for quantitative calculation of the value of information sharing.This study answers to the following questions as to why it needs to share, how to assess the status quo of the share, what information sharing model can further improve the level of information sharing, what value can information sharing bring to construction supply chain, and how much is it, how can it be calculated. Solving these problems can promote the information sharing in construction supply chain and will play a positive role in enhancing the competitiveness of it.
