System Construction Of Economy Hotel In One City And Optimal Room Allocation Research

As the corporate of providing clean, tidy, convenient rooms and lower prices, meanwhile serving for the general public, the economy hotel has developed rapidly, so do the hotel chain in one city. However, most of the hotel chain branches operate separately, because of some reasons, it will make some branches have good economic returns, others don't, which leads to reduction in the overall benefits of the economy hotel in one city. So, maximize the overall benefits of the economy hotel in one city, the allocation of customers and the number of them arranged in the each branch is most important. Most of the existing literatures focus on how to allocate an independent hotel rooms on different levels. However, for the economy hotel in one city, there are seldom literatures on how to allocate customers to each branch to maximize the overall benefits.Firstly, this paper illustrates the background and purpose of research. Then illustrate the concepts of economy hotel, hotel revenue management and hotel revenue management system. Then sums up the research of the exits literature, introduce the hotel revenue management optimal room allocation in one city.Secondly, we analyze the flaw of the course of the exits hotel reservation and find some drawbacks. Then based on the whole revenue of economy hotel in one city, we design an economy hotel revenue management system in one city to solve the problem.Thirdly, according to analyze the exits model, a stochastic model was established based on hotel revenue management theory, robust optimization was used to the stochastic variables so as to turn the stochastic into a linear programming problem, and then solve the model. In addition, the optimal scheme and capacity allocation policy were determined on the basis of the following numerical examples.Finally, some concluding remarks and future research recommendations are given in conclusions.
