For the open electricity market, transmission losses economic signals have a no negligible role to guide the rational allocation of resources in the electricity market participants. Locational marginal price (LMP) as a pricing mechanism of electricity market has been extensively studied and applied. At present, the mature practical method for solving LMP based primarily on DC-flow model. The model can effectively improve the computing speed, but it reduces the model precision. Especially it ignores the impact of transmission loss so that it inevitably causes a certain loss of accuracy. In this paper, we carry out extensive study about the DC-OPF ignoring transmission loss; Secondly, comparing with AC-OPF and DC-OPF, we establish an improve LMP DCPF model with transmission loss modification after the derivation of theoretical models. The model not only keeps the speed of calculation, but also effectively improves the result accuracy. Finally, it verifies the correctness and validity of this model by an example of data calculation and comparative analysis of AC-DC models.
