Comparing with the axiom of the field of natural science, the motivational theory has such a characteristic this is not valid everywhere, but not valueless at all at the same time .So how should we treat the validity question of the motivational theory?However, till now, the domestic and international researcher has not carried on relevant research pointedly, and they afford to make loud space to all great limitation of motivational theory just, and it is mostly on the basis of one-sided the content. The author does not think such research can get deeply to the essence of the problem, which can only be a surface problem which was solved.According to this, the text quotes the concept of the domain which is devised by jiande He in the field of motivation theories, and try to analyze and solve the validity problem of the motivation theories fundamentally. Firstly, through finding out all forming process of motivational theory, the author extracts each forming process of structural frames. Secondly, author quotes the model of " scene - respond the characteristic " devised by jiande He to filter the dimensionality that determine validity of the theory from structural frames. And based on the dimensionality, we can define the primitive domain of motivation theory. At last, according to primitive domain and dimensionality, the author defines the expanding domain, which proposes the concrete scheme to manipulate every dimensionality in order to guarantee the effective application of every motivation theories.At present, parts of content which belong to the primitive domain of two-factor theory ,Maslow's theory and the equity theory have been included in the conclusion of this article. These conclusions will help distinguishing and clarifying the underlying meaning of these three incentive theory, and lading a solid foundation for researching on expanding domain (the effective application of incentive theory).
