| Since the 20th century and nineties, the information technology revolution has promoted the development of economic globalization, and trade between nations is closer. Economic globalization has become an irresistible historical trend, but we should see that except trade in all countries, there is a growing global environmental deterioration. How to coordinate the relationship between global trade and the environment today is one of the major problems in the world. China is the world's largest developing country, how to coordinate the relationship between China's trade and the environment is even more urgently. The coordination of Trade and environment issue is important for China's sustainable development and it is the base of China's virtuous cycle economic. This article first introduces the relationship between trade and environment under economic globalization , and this paper analyzes that how the trade affects the environment, and then from the world to our country, giving the analysis of the theory of China's trade and environment conflict and actual conflict, introducing China's trade status and the current state of the environment, finally, the article proposed the strategy of coordination of our trade and environment. Full-text consists of four parts: Firstly, economic globalization and the global environment; Secondly, economic globalization, trade and environment in China under the theory of conflict; Thirdly, economic globalization, trade and environment in China under the realities of conflict; Fourthly, China's economy and the environment win-win situation. The first part of the paper analyses the relationship between trade and environment from a global point of view, describes and analyses the characteristics of the global environment. Many evidences show that pollution-intensive industries in developed countries are being transferred to developing countries, leading to even further pollution in the developing countries. The first part describes the impact of trade on the environment, mainly a negative impact. On the micro level the trade will affect environment, because any one economic activity is inextricably linked with natural resources, On the macro the trade will affect environment, as trade and transport, economic interest income, and so on.The second part of the paper view our country from a global point , as the world's largest developing country, how to coordinate trade and environmental issues is greatly significant. The second part shows China's trade and environment conflicts from a theoretical point of view, from the theory of comparative advantage, H-O theory and modern free trade theory. Since the reform and opening up, China's foreign trade has made considerable progress, but the export of products based on our comparative advantages, also, China has a comparative advantage in most industries pollution-intensive industries. China's trade policies and environmental policy is also inconsistent, and the trade development departments which formulate trade policy rarely consider the environmental impacts, and environmental policy-making departments with little regard for economic development, therefore, there is a theoretical conflict between trade and the environment in China. The third part of the paper view of the status of China's trade and the environment from a practical point , the part based on the status of China's trade and the environment, analyzing the relationship between trade and environment conflict. Through analysis of trade and per capita gross national product, we learned that trade not only promote economic growth, but also create a negative impact on the environment. From the export of the primary industry and secondary industry, we can see that the export have a negative impact on environment .This part also analyses the environmental impact of the foreign direct investment, and we have come to this conclusion from the structure of import and export commodities and variety: the country's relatively high growth rate of the types of exports of goods and China's relatively high growth rate of imported goods are some which need to go through deep processing and high-pollution products, the types of import and export commodities will present a very serious challenge on country's environment. The part further analyses China's trade and environmental conflicts with practical reasons. China is a developing country, economic development is the first prerequisite. China has large population and has to solve the hunger problem, but we should not be at the expense of the environment .As the level of technology is not as well developed State, and industry models are flawed ,which had caused the destruction of our environment, but we can not blindly pursue the development and neglect of the environment, we should pay attention to environmental protection,The fourth part of the thesis gives the strategy of the coordinated development between trade and environment in China, and it gives the theoretical and practical strategy. The development of environmental industry and the development of new energy industry is the trend of today's world, so our efforts should be made in these two areas, and coordinating trade and environment on sustainable development in China today play an important significance. Theoretical and policy areas such as: adjustment of industrial structure, strengthen supervision of foreign investment; do a good job to promote environmental awareness, raise public awareness of the functions played by environmental groups; strengthen international cooperation, and learn from foreign technology and experience; strengthen the supervision and management of polluting industries; the implementation of environmental protection laws, the strengthening of legal and regulatory role. Finally, the conclusions of the full text: the harmonious development of trade and environment is the right choice in today's world, win-win is the highest state of the era of globalization. |
