Research On The Development From Construction Supervision Enterprise To Project Management Enterprise

Construction supervision of our country focuses on the quality, progress and costs of a project, the stuff allocation and job content reflect the supervision work. Comparing with internationally renowned consulting firm, our company has large disparity in either business philosophy, business scope and scale of operation, or the ways, methods and standard. At the same time, with the continuous deepening of China's investment system reform, investment projects, by government or civil societies, needs services from professional and socialized project management firms. This kind of project management provide comprehensive services on pre-planning, design management, project tendering and construction supervision of the entire process, including schedule, cost, quality and safety aspects. The overall requirement on project management of business owners creates a good opportunity for project supervision firms to expand their business scope and scale. With China's entering to WTO, China's project management enterprises have the advantageous condition to explore international market of project management and the opportunity to cooperate with international consulting companies, which can easily help promote the supervision level of our enterprises. A big issue the Chinese enterprises facing is how to development. How to grasp the opportunity to explore a suitable space for their own development, supervision of operations will be extended forward and backward, so that the project supervision company may transform into project management company and to realize the entire progress, all-round project managing, which is the important and effective way to deepen reforming, enhance competitive platform, and to improve the overall level of company. This is the trend of supervision company and the need of internationalization in theoretical field.This essay wants to discuss the current situation and existing problems of project construction supervision, how our firms can expand project management market during the process of national promoting on project management, so as to push forward the development of construction project management rapidly.
