A Automobile Co., Ltd. is established as the earliest Sino-foreign joint auto manufacturing company in China, which has distributed more than 450 dealers across the country. With intense competition in today's era of the automotive market, dealer networks need sustainable development and stable operation which is considered as A Motors's foundation and insurance of the best sales in the nation. The sustainable development and stable operation of dealer network mostly owe that the company has a comprehensive dealers'ability assessment system. However, presently the evaluation and assessment of ability for A Motors' dealers is just an internal management practice, externally few relevant articles and information is published. One reason:as the explosive capacity of the auto market's growth, great changes in the user group and the new mobile marketing ideas and tools, A auto' sales and service approach has also greatly changed, dealer's management and ability assessment have been constantly improving. The other reason:dealers'ability evaluation activities is closely relate with manufactory's the business policy and management requirements, it is secretive in the industry.The dealer evaluation is studied as a management tool in this paper, focusing more the transforming theory into practice. Evaluation processes, tools and methods are more thoroughly described. This paper introduces the evolution of A mobile'management assessment to dealers and evaluation of practice development in different periods, systematically analyzes the theory foundation, indicator system, indicators latitude, assessment strategies and methods of dealers' ability assessment,confirms distributor of assessment to promote dealers' ability and points some problems in the operation of assessment system. By associating the evaluation system with management mechanism A car dealer, this paper analyzes the shortcomings and flaws of the A Motors dealer management system and suggests specific recommendations and improvement direction.
