A Study On Sustainable Development Of Tourism Resources In Pingdingshan City Of Henan Province

Tourism resources is a common but unique natural resource and cultural resource, which is the material basis for the development of tourism. The key of realizing the sustainable development of tourism lies in earnest protection of the valuable resources, and achieving an organic unity of economic profits, social benefits and ecological benefits in the process of development and utilization of tourism resources. Over the past decade, tourism of Pingdingshan city has developed very fast and obtained great achievements, but there are still many problems existing, which affect the sustainable development of tourism resources. The paper mainly uses methodology of document analysis, field survey and multidisciplinary study, guided by the sustainable development theories, and takes Pingdingshan's tourism resources as the research subject, comprehensively elaborates on the general situation and features of tourism resources of Pingdingshan city, and analyzes the current situation and pointes out that inadequate protection of resources, unscientific management system, low-level exploitation and utilization, imperfect legal system are the main constraints of the development of tourism resources of Pingdingshan city. Meanwhile, combining on the opportunities, advantages of tourism resources of Pingdingshan city, the paper also explores general ideas and specific measures of the development of tourism resources of Pingdingshan city, these measures include paying attention to the protection, rational exploitation and utilization, optimizing management system and improving management, formulating scientific programs and raising the level of exploration and development, improving laws and regulations, and strengthening legal controls, etc. The innovation of the thesis mainly focuses on providing a set of framework for the sustainable development of tourism resources of Pingdingshan city. Through this thesis, it is expected to have positive effect on pushing ahead the sustainable development of tourism resources of Pingdingshan city.
