There are a lot of repair and scrapped events in the steel production and installation process,which reduced profits or even losses to the steel industry. Steel enterprises has been plagued by the low quality in the manufacture and installation process.The low quality has become a major obstacle, which obstruct the steel enterprises development.This article put the advanced,scientific quality control method used in steel structure project quality management, standing in steel business perspective, in order to improve the quality of its products and services, to create Quality steel construction and to enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises. This article expounds the theory of Six Sigma management and status of China steel industry and the development of the current project quality. According to analyz the current status of project quality steel and steel enterprise quality management status,we propose the implementation of Six Sigma to steel projects,and make some analysis about implementation and workability.This article analyzs the key technologies method which to the steel structure project six sigma managed to carry on pointed inducted the analysis, and proposes in the steel structure project six sigma project's choice stage paid attention to the internal customer degree of satisfaction. This article introduces steel structure engineering survey system's analysis method, by steel structure column hoisting when the verticality control's actual case realizes measurement system's valid analysis. Meanwhile the multi-variation analytic method, the factor experimental design, the statistical process control as well as the working procedure pre-control introduces are taken in the steel structure project implementation process.This article,according to the specific practice of Six Sigma quality improvement projects, analyzs the steel structure of Six Sigma implementation From the standpoint of practice. Application of the causal diagram of the product defect analysis, through brainstorming and hypothesis testing to identify the main factors leading to defects, and measurement systems analysis, reducing measurement errors caused. Then applying two-factor-four levels of experimental design, this article analyzs the main factors, and finally through regression analysis to identify the most optimal results and optimal factor level. It makes some results in the practical application.
