Cold-rolled silicon steel is the"work of art"among the special steel, with the features of long producing sequence, complex producing process and equipment, as well as high quality requirement of the product. The cold- rolled silicon steel can be affected by many factors, which are hard to analyze and control. Six Sigma is a kind of popular management in these years; it concluded lots of quality improvement tools, which is of great help to the analysis, searching of the factors that could affect the quality of the product, and the establishment of the rules for improvement.The report introduces the process, the improvement of the cold-rolled silicon steel and the six sigma management in detail. Via the practical case of electric-magnetic enhancement using the six sigma control, the report explains the wide application space of the six sigma on product quality control. Based the working experience, the writer put forward the solution on how to expand and push forward the application as well as pursue the excellence of the six sigma. The report could be used as the reference of the other enterprises on the six sigma management on quality control and the promotion of quality management.
