A Study On Farmer's WTP To Centralized Processing Of Rural Trash

In recent years, with the acceleration of urbanization, urban domestic waste treatment has become a topic government are highly concerned. the investment on MSW treatment are more and more high, and according to the characteristics of urban garbage, they choose the different processing ways. Compared with the city, rural waste disposal has no more attention. However, with the rural economic growth and urbanization level, rural living standard and life style has undergone earth-shaking changes, garbage pollution started to erode the rural residential space, the villagers has an unprecedented threat. In rural areas, garbage disposal service are still lack and backward, farmers dispose the waste either burn or ponds, these natural dump garbage processing method are seriously polluted the rural ecological environment. Therefore, the rural living garbage problem cannot be ignored.After the new rural construction, some rural areas start to build central processing, and try to implement "charges as cities under the condition of centralized processing ", but the effect are not good. Why? I think it is related to the complex characteristics of rural residents and the family. On the basis of statistical, the paper combine a fact-finding on fifteen countries of xichuan County in henan Province by questionnaire survey method with logistic method to research the influential factor of farmer's WTP to centralization of process of rural household waste. Through this research, we can understand the rural service system deeply, know the environmental protection consciousness of rural residents, real which factor affect the WTP of garbage disposal deeply. Answering these questions is not only helps solve rural living garbage disposal, problems but also helps to realize the goals of construction socialism new countryside.The text includes 6 chapters, the first chapter is an introduction, expounds the study purpose and the significance, analyze domestic and abroad research movement, discusses the basic ideas and research methods and introduces the possible innovation. This second chapter is the theory foundation, mainly introduce the public goods and CVM, and lay the foundation for empirical analysis, The third chapter rural living garbage disposal status and the basic situation, The fourth chapter, according to the field investigation, analyzes the environmental protection consciousness of peasant households, and analysis the willingness to pay of farmers from the perspective of farmers. This fifth chapter is the most important chapter in this text, based on the last chapter to analyze the WTP in Logistic regression model. The last chapter shows some advices for rural living garbage disposal for further development.Research results show that the farmers on rural living garbage processing has higher WTP, 73.4% farmers willing to pay no more than 6.38 yuan one month. Education level, the family by householder at current net and family to farmers willingness to pay a positive significant influence health, family, head of the population scale farmers willingness to pay has negative significantly influence. According to the rural living garbage disposal characteristics of public goods, the author argues that in farmers willingness to pay in the circumstances, the government's participation is very necessary. the head of households'educational level, net income of rural households as well as the number of currently school attending are positive significant effect on the farmer's WTP, the head of household's health condition ,family size are negative significant impact on the farmer's WTP. Compared with the previous literatures, this paper concluded that the householder age has no significant influence to WTP, contrary to that previous householder age has negative significant influence to WTP, illustrates with more channels in knowledge, the old and the young people in environmental protection have no obvious difference. In addition, because rural life garbage disposal is public goods, only depending on the government can't solve the problem of rural household waste, we also need farmer's participation.
