The 20th century, 70 years, Western countries have begun to implement government reforms, whose main idea is that privatization will be handed over to the private sector to run the utility, designed to address the Government to provide public goods and public services, inefficient or ineffective. The urban public transport industry as an important area of public utilities will gradually privatization, which has become a national trend of urban public traffic sector reforms.Some Chinese cities have begun to try to run public traffic, such as Chongqing, Chengdu, Tianjin, Shiyan, and have already achieved some results, but generally speaking, there are still many problems, such as the external market imperfections, the laws and regulations system which public traffic privatization can not based on being not perfect imperfect, government responsibility not in place, the difficulty to guarantee quality of service issues and so on. These problems constraint the further development of the privatization of urban public transport. So we should base on the current situation of China's urban public traffic, and learn from the successful experience of bus privatization of the Western developed countries to perfect the privatization of urban public traffic in China, to promote the development of China's urban public traffic, and to provide high-quality, efficient, fast and convenient public transport services for the general public.
