The high-rate economic advancement and the adjustment of industrial structure around the globe have, to a great extent, promoted the perfection of the division of labor internationally. An increasing number of enterprises have chosen to outsource those less essential software projects for the sake of cutting costs and better focusing on their core business. Nowadays, one third of output in the global software industry is generated in the form of outsourcing, and the rate is increasing by an average 17.1% years on year. Outsourcing, the new-born industry, has stirred a wave of industry shift globally. As a significant development trend of China's software industry, outsourcing enjoys a wide market and a promising future. However, a host of enterprises, out of dissatisfaction, intend to categorize outsourcing as a sector included in the enterprises, which will surely set a limit to the advancement of our software industry. Since the outsourcing market is wide-open now, it is particularly vital to determine how our outsourcees can improve their capacity to meet the outsourcers'demands, and what are the key factors in improving the outsourcing industry's competence?In spite of quite a few studies on the influencing factors of software outsourcing, which are mainly focused on software outsourcers, there is a lack of empirical guidance on how to raise an outsourcee's competitive capacity. Based upon literature review, this thesis introduces "the diamond model" into the outsourcing field, and broken "diamond model" six elements down into internal factors and external factors of organization. In the impact of internal factors in the organization of the software outsourcing industry's competitive. This thesis conducts factor analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis of statistics from listed companies' financial statements by applying the SPSS 17.0 statistical software. We have drawn such tentative conclusions:1. Human capital has no evident impact on industry's performance. 2. Corporate scale has an evident positive impact on industry's performance.3. Operation capacity has an evident positive impact on industry's performance.4. Debt-paying ability has an evident positive impact on industry's performance.In the impact of internal factors in the organization of the software outsourcing industry's competitive, the author used quantitative and qualitative research method analysis the data. Meanwhile, the thesis has drawn a comparative analysis of outsourcees' performance in 2007 and 2008 against the background of the global financial crisis and combing a large number of literatures, shows that eternal factors of organization do have effect on the competitiveness of China's software outsourcing industry. Furthermore, it is also stated how influencing the location of an enterprise and the domestic market demand can be to outsourcees' competitive capacity, as well as software industry cluster building and government. In so doing, practical and feasible suggestions are given to improve competence and future research topics are proposed for reference.
