The paper researches on tourism city landmark from the aesthetic point of tourists. First, this paper defines the concept of tourism city landmark and analyzes its formation mechanism and evolution process. And then, the paper studies on the three levels aesthetic interpretation of tourism city landmark which can be divided into three levels:environment--feeling, style-perception, symbol-understanding. What's more, the evaluation model of aesthetic interpretation quality is established and its index systems are evaluated by the using of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. Finally, some suggestions are summarized from two aspects:design idea and layout optimization.This paper is divided into five chapters:ChapterⅠ:Introduction. Define the purpose, contents, methods and significance of the study, and analyze the study situation both at home and abroad. The concept of tourism city landmark is given. ChapterⅡ:the formation and evolution of tourism city landmark. Firstly, summarizes several characteristics of tourism city landmark and its roles. From a combination view of city landmarks and tourism, the paper analyze the formation of the tourist city landmarks based on the subjects Paris and Shanghai, and sum up the impact factors of development and evolution of tourism city landmarks. ChapterⅢ:three levels aesthetic interpretation of tourism city landmark. This chapter is the most important part of all. Based on the integration of relevant theories and principles, the theory of three levels aesthetic interpretation is proposed, which are as follows:the first level, environment--feeling; the second level, style--perception; the third level, symbol--understanding. Referencing to Oliver expect theoretical model and ACSI model, the paper designs a creative mode and builds up evaluation index system which is constructed and evaluated theoretically by the fuzzy comprehensive method. ChapterⅣ:design and layout of tourism city landmark. Some recommendations are put forward from the inside-outside point of view. ChapterⅤ:Conclusion. Summarizes the main arguments and points out some improvements.
