Research On Theories And Methods Of Evaluation Of Environmental Policy Implementation In Power Industry

At home and abroad have introduced a large number of environmental policies to help to achieve sustainable economic and social development. The power industry as a high-energy consumption and high emissions industrial sector, the effective implementation of environmental policy in this sector have a major impact on the achievement of the objectives about pollution control and energy saving. Therefore, it is necessary to have the scientific evaluation upon the environmental policy implement in power industry.This thesis, based on the theories of public policy analysis and externalities, as well as focused on the external value of energy-saving and emission reduction, discusses the evaluation indicators and method of environmental policy effect in power industry by the cost-benefit analysis. The paper also analyzes and summarizes the advanced experience of the environmental policy from foreign power industry, then offers a series of suggestion toward Chinese environmental policy.
