Study On The Application Of EVA In Corporate Performance Evaluation

To address the issue that whether EVA in corporate performance evaluations effectively play a role, in this paper, two regression analysis models in which Traditional Accounting Earning and EVA were regarded as main performance indicators, were constructed on the basis of the enterprise performance comprehensive evaluation system. We arrived at the conclusion that by using the data of Chinese listed companies_ there was better application value in the EVA-based performance evaluation system than in the traditional accounting earning-based performance evaluation system, in two aspects of relative effectiveness and the effect in performance evaluation. The conclusion indicates that EVA has better application value in enterprise performance evaluation. Compared with previous studies, this paper presented an idea of more comprehensive and more accurate to test and verify the application value of EVA.
