In this paper, based on diesel (wholesale) price and sales data of a province of the China National Petroleum Corporation, from impact of diesel prices on diesel sales, through econometric modeling method, constructed diesel sales and price model(model of volume and price of diesel). Used model of volume and price of diesel, we had the quantitative relationship between diesel sales and diesel price, and thus constructed diesel price adjustment strategy optimization model (DPM optimization model); Diesel sales in the ordinary course the company may exist in the six diesel price adjustment strategy (referring to two consecutive days of price adjustment strategy) for the policy set, analysis price reduction strategy set (or price increase strategy set) in the DPM optimization model, at the specified diesel price adjustment strategy (price reduction strategy set or price increase strategy set), obtain the price adjustment strategy of the enabling the company's diesel benefit largest. The main results in this paper may be summarized as follows:1) Using Eviews econometric software in OLS method (the least squares) to construct diesel "sales-price" model, which dependent variable for diesel sales, independent variables for the price of diesel, international crude oil prices (WTI price) and other related variables; use of the classical statistical variables in the table related statistical indicators and residual graphics, to test the model's feasibility and rationality. In the model construction is completed, we quantitatively analyze the impact of the price of diesel sales, the prices mentioned here include not only sales of diesel selling price of diesel sales, and includes international crude oil prices (WTI price).2) According to the models of volume and price of diesel, obtain quantitative relationship between selling price of diesel and diesel sales, and thus constructed diesel price adjustment strategy optimization model (DPM optimization model), DPM optimization model diesel price adjustment policy set is based on the daily price adjustment for diesel sales, are defined for two days of diesel price reduction strategy set Ua and diesel price increase strategy set prices Ub, obtain the price adjustment strategy of the enabling the company's diesel benefit largest.
