Study On Yunnan Flower Cold-chain Logistics And Railway Transportation

In recent years, with the economic development and improvement of people's living standards, the demand from consumers for fresh flowers is on the rapid growth, flower production is increasing constantly and showing a scale development pattern, the flow radius of products is in the rapidly expanding. Yunnan province as a flower's main Producing region, has preliminary formed its flower product layout after more than ten years of development, in particular Kunming and Yuxi are the output bases of temperate cut flowers and tropical orchids, besides Kunming DouNan flower market has become the largest flower transaction market in Asia. Meanwhile, flowers of Yunnan are sold to three main regions:Beijing,Shanghai,Guangzhou are respectively the center of north china (including northeast of china),east china,south china. Flower logistics has become the key to the flower industry to grow. Now as an important means of flower specialized transport, cold-chain has been taken more and more attention. At the same time, Yunnan flowers sinotrans is mainly based on air transport, the railway shares a small market. However, with the run of PDL the railway will have a rich transportation capacity. Flowers railway transport is facing unprecedented opportunities. Based on these backgrounds, the research on the cold-chain logistics and flower railway transport has great significance such as to expansion Yunnan flower industry, development of railway refrigeration transport.This dissertation firstly describes the status and trends of flower logistics in china and foreign countries, as well as the investigation on Yunnan flower market. Secondly, the paper mainly studies Kunming flower, including analysis its producing area characteristics and production forecast based on GM (1,1) model. Thirdly, a compare among different transport means of flower logistics is done, then establishes generalized cost function based on economy, Promptness, safety and convenience. After that the Logit model is used in estimation of the distributing rates on flower transportation of Kunming-Beijing between airway and railway. As an Innovation, the dissertation also studies the shelf of cut flowers and allowed longest transit time with method of Cluster Analysis, according to the result, chooses representative city and discusses the urban range which the railway can reach to during the shelf. For rail flower transport, the paper studies the organizational form of transport, analysis the baggage transport,parcel train,rail refrigerates containers trains. Lastly, based on the problems and development opportunity of flower logistics, the paper puts forward some suggestions about flower logistics and railway flower transportation.
