At present, Logistics industry in China has been polarized into two levels:oversupply of low-end logistics services and undersupply of high-end logistics services. Demand of cold supply chain logistics grows quickly in recent years. Cold supply chain logistics has become high-end among modern logistics industries due to its high degree of specialization and high investment cost. Therefore, the study of company's practice of high-end cold chain logistics is obviously theoretical and practical. From the perspective of company's practice of high-end cold chain logistics, the demand of cold chain logistics services greatly exceeds its supply:(1) it is unable by own vehicles to realize scale effect of highly invested cold chain logistics; (2) it is unable by affiliated vehicles to build professional brand; (3) no vehicles for cold chain transportation is easy to be affiliated. But YCL explores a proper way of alliance management mode to truly control allied vehicles, realize scale effect, build YCL's professional brand and finally meet the market demand of cold chain logistics services. Therefore, this article, by taking YCL as a typical case of study and YCL's mode of alliance management as object of study, studies carefully the YCL's alliance management mode of cold supply chain transportation, analyses the whole process of YCL's business concept change from "own vehicles to control vehicles" and its implementation, explores the shortcomings and problems of this mode, gives proper and effective solutions responsively, and expects to provide useful experience and lessons for YCL and cold chain logistics business for their adaptability transformation and development of management mode.
