The Empirical Analysis On Economic Effect Of Shanxi's Infrastructure Investment

Infrastructure is related to basic issues of economic development,the residents'quality of life and social welfare, and its role on economic development attracts the governments and economists' attention. Since reform and opening, Shaanxi's economy has achieved rapid development. It is has an important role that we systemically research what is the role of infrastructure has played on economic development. So we can improve the scientific nature of government decisions, and optimize the investment structure. At present, there is only a small number of descriptive studies, and no comprehensive system of results.This paper attempts to make a little on the basis of empirical analysis. Based on the early results of theoretical studies and macroeconomic data, using cointegration theory, Granger causality test and multiple linear regression and other methods, through qualitative and quantitative analysis, studies the role of infrastructure investment to economic growth, and put forward policy recommendations to optimize the investment.This paper is divided into four parts. the first Part is the introduction, which mainly includes research significance, domestic and international literature review,research methods and ideas of this article. The second part was full theoretical basis, which introduces the content and features of infrastructure, defines the concept of infrastructure in this article, reviews the related theories of economic growth, lay a theoretical foundation for studying the relationship the system between infrastructure investment and long-term economic growth. The third part is empirical analysis. Firstly explains the collection and select of sample data, statistically analyze the condition of Shaanxi's infrastructure investment in statistical analysis based on macroeconomic data, then analyze the long-term stable relationship between infrastructure investment of Shaanxi Province and GDP with co-integration theory and Granger causality test, finally analyze the priority order of the structure of Shaanxi's infrastructure investment with multiple linear regression model, thus get some inspiration. Based on policy tools theory and empirical analysis above, summarizes some conclusions based on the empirical analysis in the summary. In the forth part, we describe the idea of infrastructure investment reform, proposes some optimization policy and suggestions on infrastructure investment combined with the status of infrastructure investment and results of the empirical analysis in Shaanxi Province.
