Application Research Of Software Project Surveillance Process And Methods

Currently, the information system project construction is moving towards maturity gradually and information system project surveillance from scratch, has been carried out for over ten years. Information system project surveillance has achieved good results in improving the quality of information system project and in the progress and cost control. Surveillance is used in more and more information system project. With an increasing number of the application software development projects, software project surveillance has made great progress. At the present stage, there are many problems at software project surveillance such as variety of work modes, the specific surveillance activities are nor clear and surveillance method is not systematic.This paper presents a software project process and the main activities of surveillance. Application research for methods of surveillance provides a useful exploration for the surveillance of the implementation of software project. It also specifies the current software project surveillance and gives further references for other methods of surveillance. It can provide the specific basis for service providers. Surveillance also improves the overall quality of the construction of software project, reduce the risk of project construction, improve the success rate of project and ensure the effectiveness of investment.Based on the software life cycle analysis, this paper divided the software project surveillance into four stages:tender stage, requirements design stage, project implementation stage. According to specific details of software development and supporting process of software life cycle the main activities of four stages of software project surveillance are analized detailed and the responsibilities and work content of surveillance are defined.In order to achieve software project objectives of progress, investment and cost control, surveillance needs to quantify and compare the indicators. This paper achieves good results according to the characteristics of software project and drawing on the traditional method of project management:Gantt charts and the fish bone diagram. And it also forms a set of effective control methods of software project surveillanceTo verify and improve the software project surveillance and to make it closer to practical applications this paper selected information system of surveillance of tax management information system as a case. This paper analyzes the process and the main methods of surveillance of the project to verify the effect of their practical application of software project surveillance.
