Funeral Customs are rituals and activities that show how people comfort the deads'soul, how they deal with the deads'bodies, they show humans'spiritual world, society, and social relations concentratedly and vividly.As a distinct funeral customs, the secondary burial comes about on some social activities, some relationships, and psychological needs. The secondary burial is a funeral morphology which deal with the dead's body and soul more than once. It has a long history, and long life, and it can be observed in many of our southern region yet. The "Zang fen" custom of Zhuangzhong village is also a secondary burial, it have its own historical and cultural reansons.The whole article consists of five parts, the preface introducing the research origination, review of Researches, the significance,the research methods of this thesis. Chapter 1 described the process of the second funeral on the basis of Zhuangzhong's natural geography environment and social life. By descibing the process of the second funeral, combined with some interviews and literature, Chapter 2 maintains that the main causes of Zhuangzhong's Secondary burial are people's view of spirit, geomantic view, and it may be relevant to Wa-xieba immigrant. The ways of funeral reflect some certain folklore, Chapter 3 revealed the deaper culture and ideas of the Secondary burial customs, summarized culture factors of them——rituals, symbol, taboo, sorcery, and so on. Above, the paper analyzed the Secondary burial customs'social function. And at the end, in Chapter 4, there are some discussion At the end of the essay.In conclusion, The funeral Customs of Zhuangzhong village comes about in some certain historical conditions, and have deep historical origin. They are not only bound up with the local natural environment, but also are related to people's view of spirit, the ancestor's activities. However, along with population growth and fast modernization process, To execute funeral reform is a tendency of modernization. it is to be noted that, funeral reform is not only a change from buried to cremation, but also to Inherite traditional ideas of filial piety and a heart of thanksgiving.
