With the development of productivity and science and technology, competition among enterprises is more of the fierce, which is more and more due to competition of talent. Senior managers master decision-making power of enterprises, and they play a key part in the development of enterprises .their management level is the key to business success, so the scientific and accurate evaluation to senior managers is particularly important.In this paper, we do extensive research into the status of appraisal to senior managers at home and abroad, pointing to deficiencies of performance appraisal about executives of listed companies currently, for instance, unreasonable KPI, assessment of the executives is conducted by theoretical description mainly. These assessment methods can not reflect the executive performance. In this paper, we think performance assement should contain qualitative and quantitative methods. We set index as quantitatively as possible, that not only makes the results more objective, and we can feedback strengths and weaknesses .when we design executive assessment indicators on the basis of executive positions, and then we conduct empirical analysis of the indicators to ensure that assessment is relative to senior executives'performance. In this paper we established a model of executive performance appraisal and performance evaluation index system, so that the companys'performance appraisal system is more scientific and systematic. Finally, in order to guarantee the smooth progress of evaluation, we proposed implementation of safeguards.
