Following the entry of China into the World Trade Organization from 2001, especially for the deprivation of the protection from government,the car manufacture industry are facing increasingly unprecedented opportunities and challenges. In such intensely international competition, China's car industry organization has been constantly changing. In order to study the present conditions and find some problems in our car industry organization, according to the Industrial Organization theory of Harvard School, the paper sets up an S-C-P frame to analyze our car industry organization, to improve the ability of international competition.Firstly, the paper reviews the current situation of industry organization research at home and abroad, which is the theory base on the market structure, conduct and performance. In the paper,the structure of China car industry are deeply demonstrated,from the concentration degree, scale economy, product differentiation, barrier for entering to the withdrawing of production. From the enterprise conduct, this chapter describes the price conduct and anti-price of our car enterprise. Proceeding with the industry's scale and efficiency, the grade of technical progress and level of market opening,the indicator system for evaluating the market performance of car industry is abstracted. The market performance by using Borda method is analyzed with actual examples,thus this concluding compared to the developed country the gap of the market performance with our car industry is being gradually widened. Based on these analyses of our car industrial organization, the paper presents some suggestions for the government to improve our car industry becoming more competitive. The final chapter points out the paper's deficiencies, and gives some issues for further research.
