Study On Vehicle Routing Problems With Tractor And Semitrailer Separated

Chinese container throughput increase rapidly resulted in Chinese economic development and the growth of export and import trade, which has effectively promoted Chinese port logistics industry's prosperity. As the most important part of port logistics, container transportation is paid more and more attention. Container road transport industry plays a significant role in container transportation. Nowadays, market competition is fierce, the demand of timeliness is the first factor customer pay attention to, which brings great pressure to container transport firm. Container transport vehicles are different from the ones of ordinary tranport, the front and the body can be separated, this increase the efficiency of container transport, as well as vehicle scheduling complexity.The current operation mode of container trucks is still traditional scheduling method relying on the subjective experience, it is hard to achieve a reasonable distribution of vehicles, even dispatchers can not judge if their own scheduling scheme is valid. This paper studys on vehicle scheduling problem under container trailer separation mode. Accroding to the difference of service range, container road transport vehicles can be divided into inner container vehicles and outer container vehicles, the former services in the scope between hoist and crane, the later in crane and customers. As the former works without trailer separation, the paper only works on the study of later, hoping to help to improve container vehicle scheduling method. This research is still a blank, so this paper may extend and develop theoretical study.The paper states the background, purpose and significance of the research, describes the current situation and analysis the problem of domestic and foreign research after extensive literature searching, describes the type and solution method of vehicle scheduling problem, and then comparse separate trailer mode with other extend vehicle scheduling problem on the basis of the analysis separate trailer mode vehicle routing object and describes the outer track transport processes. In terms of other extended vehicle scheduling problem naming approach, name the separate trailer mode vehicle scheduling problem as VRPTS, stands for Vehicle routing problems with Tractor and semitrailer Separated. The paper sums up the difference between VRPTS problem and other extended vehicle scheduling problem which are sepearting trailer and double time window requirements, converts the problem into new model constraints. Try to use new modeling idea on account of complexity of VRPTS constraints. The paper designs a heuristic algorithm to solve problem of VRPTS after analysising and comparision of vehicle routing problem and demonstrates the effectiveness of the alorithm. At last, sums up job and lack of the paper.
