Sugars (carbohydrates) are the most abundant organisms in the nature, and are also the most important and effective components. They provide some expectation of organization to human food, the main dietary calories, compose of the cellular structure, participate in the life sciences, have the activities of cell biology function, and also play an important role in the organisms.Sugar certified reference materials have one or more uniform and are good to determine the characteristics of value, and evaluate method of measuring equipment calibration. With the development of science and technology, sugar certified reference materials are paid more attention to by food technologists all over the world. There are abundance in demand of sugar certified reference materials, during the last 20 years the United States and the European Union countries have established some sugar certified reference materials. China starts lately and is lack of sugar purity of certified reference materials.This project based on imperative high levels of physical inspection standard, develop the research for glucose, fructose, xylose, lactose, galactose and sucrose purity of certified referenece materials. According to the national certified referenece material specification requirements, the application of high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)-evaporative light-scattering method and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)-refractive index method are used for qualitative and quantitive analysis. The results prove that the uniformity test and inspection, the stability of the uncertainty evaluation are good, one year stability monitoring results show that the certified reference materials are accordant with national level certified reference materials technical requirements. In this paper the HPLC-evaporative light-scattering method and the high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)-refractive index method for the determination method of six kinds of sugars are relatively accurate analysis method, which can be used as the reference for determination of six kinds of sugars.The determination of human serum glucose content is one of the key biochemical indexes for clinical diagnosis and observation, providing a reliable basis for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases associated with important significance. Nowadays exist lots of methods applied to clinical laboratory in serum glucose determination, but because of its lack of comparability between the determination results, it is urgent to build the reference method which realize the accuracy and precise standardization measurement. This paper uses two different methods to determine the serum glucose. In this paper, the HPLC-evaporative light-scattering method and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)-refractive index method for determining six kinds of sugars are relatively accurate analysis method, which can be used as the reference for determination of six kinds of sugars.
