With the further reform in China's power industry, the power enterprises will be confronted with more and more fierce competition, which needs them to analyze their facing power markets and the marketing environment and also make a plan for the further development. This paper has made a deep analysis on the electricity market and its marketing environment of Puyang Power Company to explore an effective marketing strategy.The essay analyses the external development environment of Puyang Power Company from international, domestic, Henan Province and Puyang aspects. It also analyses the internal marketing environment, and discusses the priorities and the main problems of the company. Secondly, the essay analyses the power demand forecast, and has predicted the company's electricity needs using integrated sector method and sub-county analysis forecast method. At last, the paper analyses the power market environment which Puyang Power Company faces, puts forward the problems, discusses the target of marketing, provides marketing strategies, and argues the measures and controlling methods of fulfilling these strategies.
