Building harmonious society is a currently important issue of social development. Enterprises as a member of society, the harmonious relationship between the enterprise and employees is a key to building harmonious enterprise and harmonious society.The financial crisis which broke out in September 2008 has brought a great impact on the global economy. On the one hand, companies have to accelerate the speed of fund flow and reduce investment when faced a shrinking market, the fewer customers, the lower returns, and the shortage of funds. Due to the deteriorating conditions of production and management, the staff began to worry about the future of their career, and some core employees who cannot tolerate the decrease of the salaries have left the company. On the other hand, in order to reduced management costs to a great extent, enterprises have to implement some measure such as reduction of remuneration and redundancy, which triggered a series of contradictions, resulting in the decrease of staff's loyalty and satisfaction, thus influencing the harmonious relationship between employees and employees. Therefore, against the background of the financial crisis, the study on employee relationship management certainly has some theoretical and practical significance.This paper takes the financial crisis as the historical background, and takes the relationship of enterprises and employees as research object. The article is divided into six parts:The first part is introduction, analyzing the current economic context, and briefly introducing the theoretical and practical significance of the research, research purposes, research methods, research priorities and difficulties.The second part is literature review, which is based on the comprehensive analysis of relevant literature at home and abroad, summarizing the concept of employee relationship management, defining the content, features and impact factors of it. And review and emulate some beneficial ideas from different points of view among western scientific management theory, behavioral science theory, exchange theory and our management thoughts of employees'relationship.The third part describes the relationship between employees and the situation of management, analyzing the problems and causes of employee relationship management.The fourth part analyzes the impact of financial crisis in 1998 on the world economy and employees relationship, and how the financial crisis this time influences on business development as well as relationship management of internal staff, then discussing the opportunities and challenges the financial crisis have brought.The fifth section presents the strategies of how to establish a system of employee relationship management, which is described from five aspects that are turnover management, employee assistance programs, enterprise culture construction, employer's branding as well as improvement of training system.The sixth part is conclusions and prospects for the study.
