Under the context of economic globalization, the development of many economies are restricted by the shortage of Energy especially oil. To be both large oil consumption countries, China and Japan need to deal with oil import actively and seek cooperation in competition, so as to follow the trend of economic globalization and fully utilize the international resources to gain their own international competitiveness.Through the analysis of the current situation of the oil import between China and Japan, including the analysis of competitiveness and the possibility of cooperation, we can discover that the fierce competition in the oil import will give the loss of economic development of these two countries. Competition is the main aspect, there is still possibility of cooperation. And the cooperation in competition can realize a win-win situation for both countries.After the game analysis of the two countries import trade, the thesis pointed out that the game is not a static zero-sum game, but a dynamic, ever-changing game process. And the pattern of the Sino-Japan oil trade is to seek cooperation in competition.After doing research and analysis of the oil strategies of the other main countries, the thesis made a conclusion and gave some policy proposals for our country.
