Short-Term Credit Insurance is an insurance product which gives protection against losses of non-payment of a trade debt subject to insurance provisions agreed by both the insurer and the insured. As an important supporter of trade, Short-Term Credit Insurance helps to enhance credit management services and protect the balance sheet and cash flow of trading company. Although Short-Term Credit Insurance Business has been developed for several years in overseas insurance market, it still appears new in China. With the development of the global and domestic economy, China enterprises get familiar with this kind of insurance product. This Short-Term Credit Insurance business ushers in the opportunity of rapid development. More and more insurance companies start to involve into the competition of market share.Based on relevant knowledge of insurance, by using Management theories, Marketing theories, through scientific and effective method, we will carry out the detailed analysis from A insurance company's organization, business processes, marketing, operations and risk management., to identify the problem of Short-Term Credit Insurance Business moving in A insurance company, and work out the countermeasures.This paper is contained by three portions. The first portion is the introduction of China's current market situation and the development statues of Short-Term Credit Insurance Business in A insurance company. Following portion is to analyze the problems A insurance company encountered. The last portion is to propose countermeasures to A insurance company regarding Short-Term Credit Insurance Business ,which including below four points : 1. From organizational framework, A insurance company should strengthen team building, the related staff evaluation system, and personnel training; 2. In business processes, should develop strict business processes, in saving business processes time; 3. In business marketing, should identify target customers,and achieve multi-channel marketing; 4. establish risk management system, strengthen risk monitored.
