With the rapid development of global economy,international trade friction has intensified in recent years.In response to the external environment of global economic instability,central government has repeatedly stress on the importance to stabilize export trade market,especially on the 13 th session of the National People's Congress,in his government work report in 2019,the state council premier Keqiang Li has emphasis the need to promote export trade work in a bigger scale,as well as cultivate a new international economic cooperation environment in order to increase competitive advantage in the global scale.We will have to improve the quality in foreign trade,diversify export markets,as well as expand the coverage of export credit insurance.It can be seen that export credit insurance plays an important role in promoting the growth of foreign trade,participating in international competition,improving the quality of export and ensuring the security of foreign exchange.In order to achieve those strategic goals,enlarge the coverage of export trade credit insurance.Apart from China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation(SINOSURE),since 2013-2014,The Ministry of Finance has given approval to include T property insurance companies which means opened the door for the four biggest commercial insurance company to practice in Short-term export credit insurance.T property insurance company as one of the largest full license of insurance companies in mainland China,in recent years has also laid down some short-term export credit insurance business development measures,but the strategic positioning is not clear,the implementation of the effect is not ideal,especially in the business development speed continues to slow,so short-term export credit insurance at a property insurance company competitive strategy optimization study is very important.In this paper,based on the related theory of competitive strategy,combining with the characteristics of short-term export credit insurance related theory and associated product.A number of tools have been used include Case study method,literature survey analysis method,data analysis method,benchmarking methods in order to identify the competitive strategies that short term export credit insurance is having,also further studies the difficulties current credit insurance market potentially may encounter,and Combined with the characteristics of the actual business,this paper puts forward T property insurance company's short-term export credit insurance target agglomeration competition strategies,including “comparative advantage of underwriting capacity”,“Domestic trade credit insurance + Short-term export credit insurance”,as well as target agglomeration customer selection strategy of “STRIKE ZONE” model.The relevant strategies can be differentiated at the core layer,the expansion layer and the integration layer,all three levels are connected together to form the content of the target agglomeration competitive strategy optimization of T property insurance company's short-term export credit insurance.On the basis of competitive strategy optimization idea,this paper has put forward the design of the specific competitive strategy optimization scheme respectively,including “accept insurance capacity comparative advantage” competitive positioning strategy optimization scheme,“ Domestic trade credit insurance + Short-term export credit insurance” product agglomeration portfolio strategy optimization scheme,based on the “STRIKE ZONE” model,all in aim to optimize to screen out potential customers.The three specific plans are suitable for the short-term,medium-term and long-term business development plans of T property insurance company.Under safeguard measures,the short-term export credit insurance to T property insurance company optimization effect forecast target cluster competition strategy,the implementation of the optimized competitive strategy which can realize T property insurance company short-term export credit insurance premium income,customer coverage,risk control and other aspects of ascension,eventually achieve the research purpose of this study.
