The export credit system was established in China began in1998when PeoplesInsurance Company of China began operating export credit insurance entrusted by theState Council. After10more years of development, the export credit insurancebusiness was taken by China Export&Credit Insurance Corporation in2001. Theexport credit insurance was embarked on the road of specialized management anddeveloped rapidly and made great contribution to domestic economy since then. Withthe changes in the external environment, the disadvantages of policy-oriented andmonopoly operation in the short-term export credit insurance became increasinglyapparent, and they’re blocking the development of the whole business.Based on such situation, the thesis aims at giving suggestion to the reformproject of China export credit insurance and conceptualizing market entities, such asgovernments and insurance companies in different times according to theircorresponding ages. On to the main substance of macroeconomic development data,the project draws lessons from the successful experience of western countries.Furthermore, it does not only stick too precisely to the discussion on theoretic level,but also puts high emphasis on practice and operability, and it has its own referencevalue for the on-going market reform of the short-term export credit insurance atpresent.
