Study On The Location Choice Investment In Asean From China

With the development of economic globalization,our government has paid more attention on the strategy of the foreign direct investment.The CAFTA(China—ASEAN Free Trade Agreement)implemented on Jan.1st,2010,which has brought great opportunity for direct investment in ASEAN from China.The location choice is the first issue of the direct investment,therefore the study on the location choice of the FDI in ASEAN from China has much meaning of theory and realism.The paper introduced the background and the research situation from foreign and domestic,elaborated the investment environment of ASEAN and the present situation of FDI from China,and analysed the motive as well as the location factors which influence China invests in ASEAN.and used the method of AHP to establish the location factor estimation system of ASEAN.According to the motive and the specific situation of ASEAN,the paper pointed out the suggestion and strategy of FDI in ASEAN.For the motive of exploring and expanding the abroad markets,we should select the area of low production capacity and short product supply such as Lao PDR, Myannar and Cambodia,and the area of big population and consumer market such as Indonesla; for the motive of seeking the natural resources,we should select Indonesla,Malaysia,Brunel Darussalam which are rich in oil,natural gas,coal and so on;for the motive of promting domestic production to upgrade and innovate,we should select Lao PDR,Myannar and Cambodia which are less development countries; for the motive of studying advanced management and technology from other countries,we should select Singapore and Malaysia...
