The Effect Analyses Of Foreign Direct Investment To Our Country's Export Commodity Structure

This paper studies the effects on China's export commodity structure of foreign direct investment (Foreign Direct Investment, referred to as FDI), and makes regression analysis about the relationship between them.FDI in today's economy and society plays an important role. And it impacts on developing countries in many aspects, including the effects on developing countries'capital, technology, trade, balance of payments, economic growth, employment and prices. In recent years, the number that China's use of FDI has increased steadily, and China has had the world's largest number in the use of FDI. FDI has stimulated the development of China's trade and improved China's export commodity structure. It greatly enhances China's position in the international trade. Also it has great practical significance on China's development.The research documents about the impact of FDI has on China's exports is very large and broad, many studies have focused on the impact that foreign direct investment does to the import and export trade. getting them together, it can be found that the main focus of the studies is in the test of causation of the effects that FDI does to China's exports, export volumes, structural upgrades, technology spillovers and so on. In this thesis, drawing on the basis of research results of others, combines with the latest information, data and scientific research methods, analyzes the promoting role that FDI does to China's trade, in the hope of that we can get a more objective conclusion about the foreign direct investment on China's export commodity structure.Thesis, firstly analyzes the course of our country in attracting FDI and the development status of export trade, and secondly, makes an empirical analysis on relationship of the total amount of FDI and China's exports, FDI and China's export commodity structure (sub-primary products and manufactured goods)separately. So that we can get a more complete result of substantive role about foreign direct investment does on China's export trade development., and the results show that FDI significantly optimizes the structure of China's exports commodity. That is, FDI can contribute to the exports of China's industrial products, as well as electrical and mechanical, high-tech products, also it contributes a lot to China's export trade development, and plays a positive role in the improvement of China's export commodity structure and export trade patterns. Finally, the paper also puts forward countermeasures and suggestions on how to further use of FDI to promote China's export commodity structure, effective and sustainable development.
