The Analysis Of The Influence Of FDI On Export Commodity Structure In Fujian Province Since The 90's

Since the 90's, with the overall pattern of opening up in Fujian Province has been formed, export trade and utilization of foreign direct investment have made vigorous development, and the export commodity structure has gradually been optimized as well. In that case, what is the relation between FDI and the export commodity structure? If the analysis can solve this problem, it will play an active supporting role on the policy-making. In addition, because Fujian as a big province on attracting investment and trade has many unique characteristics, studying on its relationship between FDI and the commodity structure will provide important references for other export-oriented economic development regions.On the basis of the existing literature, this paper is centered on optimizing the export commodity structure and adopts the method of Co integration Test, Error Correction Model and so on by building the variables of export structure coefficient to analyze the obtained data empirically. The result shows that foreign direct investment promotes the export commodity structure in Fujian Province changing from primary products to manufactured goods. Then, it will analyze that how foreign direct investment influences on the export commodity structure from Qualitative point such as technology spillovers of FDI and the status of Foreign-funded enterprises. At last, it will put forward some related policies and suggestions to optimize the export commodity structure in Fujian province.
