Research On Forfaiting And Export Finance Of Small And Medium-sized Enterprise

In the long tern, the exporting volume created by small and medium-sized enterprises comprises more than 60% of the total amount. Though they are essential to the development of economy in the whole country, the problem of finance exist for a long time. Many experts focus on this issue and have done lots of research, but most of them emphasis on the macro scope and give some advice that can work in future. Thus some specific finance instruments used in international trade--specially forfaiting, will be discussed in the article. And it is hoped that forfaiting can effectively help small and medium-sized exporting enterprises tackle with the finance problem.There are six main parts in the dissertation. First of all, the major view of points on trade finance will be generalized in the literature review. Then, the characteristics, functions and risks of trade finance and forfaiting will be displayed in the next two parts of the dissertation. In chapter four, the current situation and some possible reasons about finance problem will be analyzed from different aspects. Chapter five is the key point of the whole dissertation. In this chapter, the characteristics, procedure and charge of forfaiting will be analyzed in detail to see that whether it is a proper instrument to help small and medium-sized exporting enterprises. Last but not least, some defects will be discussed in chapter six. Accordingly, some suggestions will be given in this part as well.According to the research in this dissertation, readers will discover that no matter from the characteristics, procedure or the charge of forfaiting, it can be an effective way to release the problem of finance for small and medium-sized exporting enterprises.
